After Vince Staples released his 2016 album, Prima Donna, he’s returning in 2017 with another new album, Big Fish Theory, set for release June 23rd. If you’ve been paying attention, he’s already dropped 3 major singles from the new album, each feeling more like classic Vince Staples with a bit less of Prima Donna’s unique voice.
Thus far, that means we’ve only heard a feature from Ty Dolla $ign, but damn if it wasn’t a great one.
With fans getting a taste of the new project, Friday can’t come soon enough.
As for the other features on Big Fish Theory, the list reportedly includes Kendrick Lamar, Juicy J, A$AP Rocky, Kilo Kish, and Damon Albarn (from the Gorillaz.)
It’s going to be one hell of an album. Even if Vince has been getting a bit distracted while hyping it.
